About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Imaging Assistant to join our team at The Cross Radiology in Hurstville, NSW. This is a part-time role where you will play a crucial supporting role in our state-of-the-art medical imaging facility, assisting our highly qualified radiologists and technicians.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring a positive patient experience
  • Preparing and maintaining examination rooms and equipment
  • Providing support to radiologists and technicians during medical imaging procedures
  • Ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stocked and maintained
  • Assisting with the administrative tasks related to patient records and bookings
  • Adhering to all health, safety and infection control protocols

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a similar patient-facing role is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology
  • Genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to patient care
