About the Role

Oasis Hotel Motel in Cloncurry is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to join our leadership team. This role suits someone with solid hospitality experience who's ready to take the next step — supervising daily operations across bar, bistro, accommodation, and gaming areas in a friendly, regional environment.

You'll work closely with the venue managers to ensure smooth operations, team coordination, and a consistently high standard of guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily venue operations, including bar, bistro, accommodation, and gaming.
  • Supervise, train, and support hospitality team members.
  • Ensure compliance with RSA, RSG, WHS, and venue procedures.
  • Handle cash reconciliation, stock control, and POS accuracy.
  • Liaise with guests, manage bookings, and resolve issues professionally.
  • Coordinate rosters, shift handovers, and team communications.
  • Assist with reporting, supplier coordination, and general administration.
  • Support a positive and safe workplace culture through hands-on leadership.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles (pub, motel, or hotel environment preferred).
  • Current RSA, RSG, and Manual Driver's Licence (RMLV desirable).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of POS systems, cash handling, and compliance reporting.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple areas as required.
  • A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
