Join a leading civil contractor, a specialist in Sydney Water infrastructure project delivery.

Based in South-West Sydney, with full Sydney Water accreditations, they have decades of success delivering complex Sydney Water projects,.

Highly regarded, they are known for their technical capability, collaborative culture, and ability to deliver complex water, wastewater, and associated civil works to the highest industry standards.

Another experienced Estimator is now sought to join their professional team.

The Role:

Reporting to senior management, you'll prepare detailed estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions for a range of Sydney Water infrastructure projects.

You'll liaise with engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing, competitive bids, and a clear understanding of project scope and risk.

Projects you'll be involved in estimating include:

  • Water Main Reticulation
  • Gravity Sewer & Pressure Sewer Systems
  • Stormwater and other Hydraulic Services
  • Micro-tunnelling & Underboring
  • Pumping Stations
  • Related civil and earthworks

Essential Skills, Experience, and Attributes required include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
  • Significant and demonstrable estimating experience  across a variety of Sydney Water infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of cost planning, subcontractor pricing, and tender processes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Acute attention to detail, organisation, and time management
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to connect at all levels.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
