Join the dynamic team at Sands Fridge Lines and take on the exciting role of driving Road Trains. This full-time position is based in Forrestfield and offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's operations in the Road Transport industry.

This is a full-time permanent position with above award rates working for WA's leading family-owned Cold Storage and Refrigerated Distribution business.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate triple road trains from Forrestfield to different mine sites
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
  • Liaise with dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods
  • Maintain accurate records of driving activities, including logbooks and delivery documentation
  • AM and PM departure times

Requirements

  • Demonstrated MIN 2 Years MC driving experience with Triple Road Trains
  • Experience with temperature controlled/perishable goods highly regarded, not essential - as we will train.
  • Customer service focus
  • Clear, concise and fluent communication and writing skills
  • Fitness for duty to load & unload trucks with MHE and by hand
  • Strong Safety and Fatigue compliance
