Peabody is a leading global coal producer, providing essential products for the production of affordable, reliable energy and steel. The company offers significant scale, high-quality assets, and diversity in geography and products. Peabody is guided by seven core values: safety, customer focus, leadership, people, excellence, integrity and sustainability.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Management Australia, this role is vacant due to an internal promotion. You will lead a team of procurement professionals responsible for driving category strategies, supplier relationships, and contract outcomes across Peabody's Australian operations.

You will partner with mine sites, corporate functions, and global stakeholders to deliver value through strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, and supply risk management. This is a hands on leadership role with exposure to major projects such as Centurion mine expansion and key equipment lifecycle management. You will provide both strategic direction and operational oversight, ensuring contracts, negotiations, and supplier engagements support Peabody's long term operational and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities
