What You'll Be Doing

This position will be responsible for supervising the rubber mixing process, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the rubber mixing team
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies
  • Monitor and optimize the mixing process to achieve high-quality rubber compounds
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products

What We're Looking For

  • Must be clean shaven (or willing to shave) areas of the factory require masks to be fitted
  • Pre employment medical, laboratory drug and alcohol test, blood screening for baseline measurements
  • 3-5 years rubber mixing or compounding
  • 5 years' experience working in a medium-to-large heavy industrial engineering manufacturing operation
  • 3 years' experience supervising and leading work teams and training and development
  • 3 years' experience working with the following systems and methodologies; Quality, Continuous improvement & Safety
  • Ideally hold a Certificate IV or diploma level qualification specialising in either manufacturing, engineering or material science
  • Certificate IV Front Line Management
  • Hold full working rights in Australia
  • A valid Australian driver's licence
