We're seeking a skilled and passionate Wastewater Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our wastewater treatment and reuse services. This is a pivotal leadership role that ensures operational excellence, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement across our wastewater network.

What You'll Do

Lead the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants and reuse sitesEnsure compliance with environmental and safety regulationsManage operational risks and respond to incidents effectivelyProvide site-based leadership to a team of 2-4 staffDrive innovation and continuous improvement in wastewater operationsCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including regulators and contractorsSupport strategic projects such as the Bendigo Groundwater interim solution

What You'll Bring

Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or a related disciplineExtensive experience in wastewater treatment and reuse operationsProven leadership and team management skillsStrong understanding of asset management and maintenance principlesAbility to manage risk and make sound decisions under pressureExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsA current Victorian Driver's Licence and Australian working rights

Salary:

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 5 $115,162 - $131,623 + superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
