About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for driving decisions relating to the day-to-day management of stakeholder requirements. Utilising your ability to collate, analyse and communicate business information along with your strong collaborative skills, you will be able to facilitate and drive the successful delivery of key business projects and election activities. 

The role is a temporary position until 30 June

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements
As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience (5+ years) working in complex business environments, implementing business process or system change and improvements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Power BI, Visio).
  • Experience working in an Agile project environment working across multiple streams and projects.  
  • Political neutrality with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
  • Satisfactory criminal record check.

How to apply
As part of your application, you will be asked to respond to the two targeted questions:

  1. Describe a time when you have managed a complex project. What strategies did you adopt, what was your approach to gathering information, what tools and/or systems did you use, how did you influence multiple stakeholders with competing priorities and how did you measure the success of the project? (minimum 300 words) 
  2. Describe your experience with stakeholder management. How do you communicate between technical and non-technical individuals and were there specific reports or dashboards you developed to present project outcomes? (minimum 300 words)
