Company:

APEX Transport and Distribution is a privately family-owned transport and logistics business, which has been established for more than a decade. Head office in Laverton North (VIC), depots in Smithfield (NSW), Gillman (SA) and Welshpool (WA).

We are looking for an experienced allocator for an immediate start.
  • Position: Permanent
  • Pay: Salary negotiable
About you:
  • Previous Fleet Controller experience in the transport industry
  • Sound knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area + WA Regional
  • Leadership skills to supervise and manage our day-to-day PUD driver operations
  • Sound knowledge of the transport industry regulations and OHS requirements including Chain of Responsibility & Load Restraint
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong organisational skills with strong computer literacy
  • Willingness to "get the job done" without compromising service to customers
  • A proven ability to motivate and manage drivers
