We're a busy electrical contracting business based in Preston's, and we're looking for a solid, newly licensed Electrician to join our small team.

We do a bit of everything, office fit-outs, industrial work, solar/batteries, and new homes. This isn't a massive, faceless company; we're a small crew, and we all pitch in.

This role is perfect for someone who has recently finished their apprenticeship, has their licence, and is keen to get stuck in, run their own jobs, and build their career.

What You'll Be Doing

Day-to-day, you'll be hands-on, working autonomously on-site and helping guide our Trades Assistants to get jobs completed efficiently.

Your main duties will include:

  • Working on new and existing commercial and residential switchboards.
  • Running, terminating, and fitting off cabling for new homes and office fit-outs (rough-ins and fit-offs).
  • Installing solar power systems, including energy storage (batteries) and power conversion equipment.
  • Installing cabling for appliances and air conditioning systems.
  • Handling commercial and industrial cabling jobs.
  • Fault finding and solving electrical issues for our clients.

About You

  • Must-Have: Current NSW Electrical Licence.
  • Must-Have: Current Driver's Licence and White Card.
  • You're recently qualified and keen to take the next step.
  • You have a good attitude, take pride in your work, and can talk to clients professionally.
  • You are comfortable working autonomously (on your own) and making decisions on the job.
  • You're reliable and work well as part of a small team.
  • Any experience in solar, battery storage, or A/C is a huge bonus, but not essential.
