Join our small but growing electrical team as an apprentice to assist with residential switchboard upgrades, LED lighting installations and power point placements.

About The Role

At SK Electrical, you'll be joining our growing team of 3 as an Apprentice Electrician. You will play a key role as a apprentice, reporting directly to the supervising Electrician. This Full time role includes:

  • Assist with wiring and terminating electrical circuits, switchboards, power points and lighting under the supervising Electrician's guidance.
  • Conduct safety inspections and test electrical systems using multimeters and insulation testers.
  • Support switchboard upgrades by assembling, labeling and mounting distribution boards.
  • Maintain tools, vehicles and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and on-site safety.
  • Document job progress, material usage and update the service management system daily.

Skills And Experience

  • Current Australian driver's licence (Manual desirable)
  • Valid Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and safe use of hand and power tools
  • First Aid certification (Desirable)
  • Physical fitness with willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces
