About Us:
Barrett Plaster is a Melbourne-based company specialising in commercial interior fit-outs and external cladding. We work across sectors including education, retail, childcare, and mixed-use developments – partnering with some of Victoria's leading builders. We pride ourselves on professionalism, clear communication, and delivering defect-free results.

The Role:
We're on the lookout for a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Cladder to join our growing team. You'll be working on a variety of commercial projects, installing external cladding systems and internal carpentry packages as part of a well-organised and supportive crew.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Installation of External Cladding Systems (Exotec, Aluminium Battens, Territory, etc.)

  • Internal Carpentry Works including Doors, Skirtings, and Sanitary fit-offs

  • Reading plans and working from construction drawings

  • Working closely with site managers and supervisors to meet project timelines

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Carpenter or proven experience in similar role

  • Experience in External Cladding Systems Preferred

  • Reliable and self-motivated with strong work ethic

  • White Card and driver's licence required

  • Yellow Card (EWP)

  • Working with Children's Check.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
