The opportunity

Join the vibrant team at La Bella Vita Italian Restaurant as a Food and Beverage Attendant. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant's dining areas. As an integral part of our hospitality team, you will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable
  • Take food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and serve customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked service area
  • Assist with the set-up and breakdown of dining areas, including tables, chairs and table settings
  • Respond to customer inquiries and address any concerns or issues promptly and courteously
  • Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene standards
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant or café environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, with a focus on delivering high-quality service
  • Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems
  • Enthusiasm for Italian cuisine and a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
