Join a stable, growing consultancy firm operating across multiple entities with a national footprint in the professional services sector. With a large, collaborative finance function and recent business expansion, this newly created opportunity has opened up for a hands-on, experienced Senior Accounts Payable Officer.

Reporting to the Financial Accountant and working alongside part-time AP support, you'll play a key role managing complex AP workflows — with a strong focus on accuracy, internal coordination, and attention to detail.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • End-to-end accounts payable processing using MYOB
  • Reviewing supplier and consultant invoices for accuracy and budget alignment
  • Managing and verifying staff expense claims in coordination with project teams
  • Ensuring proper approvals and timely payment runs (weekly)
  • Liaising closely with AR, payroll, and commercial teams to ensure accuracy and alignment
  • Oversight of a shared AP inbox.
  • Assisting with system upgrades and continuous process improvement
  • Ad hoc support and admin duties as required
What You'll Bring:
  • 5 years' AP experience, ideally in professional services or a multi-entity environment
  • Proficiency in MYOB and strong Excel/database skills
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Experience working across project budgets and matching invoices/claims to jobs
