Who is Mpower
Mpower is a well-established, successful, accredited not-for-profit community based organisation servicing South West Victoria. Mpower has been providing a range of services to individuals and families for 50 years. Vast growth over the last five years, including the introductions of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and expansion of community sector services has allowed us to develop responsive and complimentary services in our local community.
About the Role
Mpower offers services through a supportive, multidisciplinary, key-worker model across early childhood and school-aged teams. These teams consist of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Early Childhood Educators, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Assistants. Due to ongoing growth and service planning, we are seeking passionate Speech Pathologists for positions in Warrnambool, Hamilton, and Portland. As a team member, you will deliver specialist early childhood intervention supports and services for children with disabilities or developmental delays and/or supports for school aged children. Your role will involve providing Speech Pathology expertise and practical guidance to empower parents, carers, and others to support communication outcomes for their children.
About you
You will be a qualified, SPA-registered Speech Pathologist, who is motivated and energetic, and who wants to make a real difference to the lives of children and their families. You will love working in a team, and you will thrive on the learning opportunities that come from working with professionals from other disciplines in a transdisciplinary approach.
Why work with us?
We're proud and motivated to be an employer of choice in our local community and are able to confidently offer:
- Dynamic and vibrant teams who work in a highly supportive environment
- Generous relocation allowance of up to $2,000
- Sign-on bonus of $5,000 pro rata
- We love working together with children and their families, and we put them at the centre of everything we do
- We offer generous NFP salary packaging options, that means more take-home pay at the end of the week for you
- We provide ongoing Professional Development both in-house and externally, to go towards your CPD hours. You will also have access to ongoing individual and peer supervision with our experienced leadership team
- Flexible work arrangements are available to support a healthy and family friendly work-life balance
- Health and wellbeing programs
- Government Incentives: Access to up to $15,000 in additional support through the Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy Student Grant Program.
