About the Role:

As an Application Architect, you will:

  • Lead the modernization of applications to the Azure PaaS platform.
  • Provide technical guidance and governance to teams of 5+ developers.
  • Design, configure, and optimize Azure-hosted applications to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand migration needs and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Analyze application dependencies and troubleshoot configuration issues.
  • Enable observability by setting up Log Analytics and monitoring frameworks.

Primary Skills:

  • 6+ years of hands-on application development (C#, .NET, Java, NodeJS, or Python).
  • Proven expertise in Azure PaaS services, including at least two of:
  • Azure App Service
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Azure Container Instances
  • Strong experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Deep understanding of application, database, and integration migration pathways.
  • Skilled in database connectivity, configurations, and performance optimization.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Secondary Skills:

  • Experience preparing solution presentations and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with containerized application hosting on Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to Azure PaaS troubleshooting and configuration analysis.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication with the ability to present technical solutions clearly.
  • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Passion for solving problems and driving outcomes.
