Due to strong growth in our business, we are currently looking a Field Technician to join us in our Campbellfield VIC branch. The successful applicant will be chosen with a view to become Product Technical Lead for some or all products in our safety portfolio.
The role:
-
Installation of a range of aftermarket accessories for earthmoving & materials handling equipment, throughout primarily in Victoria but also other states as required.

Perform system servicing, repairs, calibrations and legal for trade (LFT) verification
-
Operate and maintain plant and equipment including forklift and vehicle used for your role
You will suit this role if you:
-
Like to fix/work on machines, have experience with fitting/installations or have an interest in auto/motors/mechanics/hydraulics
-
Enjoy working with power tools and don't mind getting your hands dirty
-
Enjoy travel and working on different machinery and customer sites
-
Like to work hard Monday to Friday, but keep the weekends for yourself
-
Are comfortable with technology
-
Can think on your feet and problem solve
Requirements:
-
Hydraulic experience essential (Hydraulics 1 & 2 preferred)
-
A team player with good communication skills
-
An appetite to learn and willingness accept instruction
-
Ability and willingness to comply with workplace health & safety requirements
-
Proficiency working with hand and power tools
-
An ability to think outside the box when working alone
-
Current C Class manual driver's license
-
Strong mechanical knowledge
-
Minimum intermediate computer skills
-
Some auto electrical experience (12 to 24V)
-
Willing to study for National Measuring Instrument Institute 6.8 certificate (Compulsory requirement between 6 to 12 months of start date and linked to a pay lift)
-
Some hydraulic experience advantageous, but not essential
-
HR / HC / MC drivers licence preferred, but not essential*
-
Forklift licence preferred, but not essential*

Elevating Work Platform licence preferred, but not essential*

Be able to undertake overtime as required
-
Be able to drive long distances when required
-
Be able to undertake travel when required (i.e. overnight stays)
-
Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
-
Must be able to pass a pre-employment Medical incl. drug and alcohol screen
-
Provide a National Police Clearance
*Relevant tickets & competencies will be required as part of training and role progression for the successful candidate.
