About the role

The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of their production line by providing hands-on support to supported employees to ensure quality product delivery in an engaging and fun work environment.

This role is responsible for all Waverley activity furthering the above purpose. This includes activities such as:


• Coordinate job setup for production line ensuring job requirements are adhered to and understood by the group.


• Continuously evaluate production line setup to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements by utilising the principles of Lean and other best practices where applicable


• Conduct regular product and process inspections and address any issues that may affect product quality.


• Provide technical upskilling and training to supported employees in alignment with task requirements and goals.


• Complete accurate job records and documentation as per process and system requirements.

To be considered for the role you must possess the following.


• Have a current NDIS screening check or be willing to complete one.


• A relevant qualification in a related discipline.


• Ideal: Cert III in disability or community support or equivalent experience.


• Excellent stakeholder management skills.


• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing environment.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• High attention to detail.


• Sound experience in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams and ERP software.


• Customer Service orientation.


• Excellent planning, organising and negotiation skills.


• Continuous improvement mindset utilising lean principles and other best practices.
