About the role

Osiris Infrastructure Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Fixed Plant Maintenance Mining professional to join our team in Kalgoorlie, WA. This is a casual role with an 8/6 roster ongoing for the right candidate, giving the opportunity to work in the dynamic Mining & Resources industry. You will play a crucial part in an onsite role with the company, ensuring optimal performance and productivity on site.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on fixed plant and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery, implements repairs as required
• Collaborate with the broader maintenance team to coordinate maintenance activities
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed
• Conduct remedial media blasting and apply protective coatings on our processing plant structure as directed.
• Possess a high level of understanding with regards to JHA's, Risk Assessments on all work fronts and have high understanding of PTW Systems.
• Maintaining a safe workplace, leading by example and promoting a positive safety culture
• Ensuring adherence to site policies and procedures
• Identifying and eliminating hazards with a view of achieving an injury free workplace
• Support the Surface Infrastructure supervisor by completing all work to specifications set out.

• Effective communication, understanding and support given to all other departments based on transparent information sharing

• Previous experience performing media blasting and protective coatings application.

• Experience working with noise, dust, elevated work areas, confined work areas, extremes of temperature, water, and slurry.

• Experience in a fixed plant maintenance role, ideally within the Mining industry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to working safely and promoting a positive safety culture
• Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders
• Current 'C' Class WA Driver's License
• Current Work at Heights competency
• Current Confined Space Entry competency
• EWP Ticket.
• Forklift Ticket
