The opportunity

Osiris Infrastructure Pty Ltd is seeking experienced All-Rounder Poly Welders to join their team on a casual 8/6 or 14/7 Roster FIFO basis in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Mining and Civil Works industry with a respected and growing infrastructure company.

Key responsibilities

  • Performing poly welding duties on a range of mining and civil infrastructure projects
  • Completing general laboring and handyperson tasks as required
  • Operating relevant machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience (1 -2 years preferred) as a poly welder in the mining or civil works industry
  • Proven experience in mining or civil construction environments
  • Competent in poly welding machine operation
  • Experience in fencing and general site works
  • Working at Heights and EWP tickets
  • MR Driver's License (minimum)
  • Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol testing and hold a current Police Clearance
  • Physically fit and capable of working in extreme weather conditions
  • Self-motivated with a strong team attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license and experience operating relevant machinery
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
