At Mugari

Our Mungari Gold Operations are a cornerstone asset located 28km west from central Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (WA) and 600km east of Perth. Mungari has a predominantly residential workforce, with many living in Kalgoorlie Boulder, giving many employees the luxury of coming home every day.

Now with a mine life through to 2038, our people have a longer future with opportunities to grow. About the role

Are you ready to kickstart your career in the fixed plant trade? As an Apprentice Fixed Plant Fitter, you'll be part of a hands-on, highly supportive learning environment within our Processing Plant Maintenance team. You'll work under the direct supervision of experienced tradespeople who are committed to helping you grow and succeed.

This role is all about learning by doing. You'll gain practical experience while contributing to the safe, professional, and efficient maintenance of our fixed plant equipment. With guidance from our skilled team and through your TAFE studies, you'll develop the knowledge and skills to:

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate behaviours aligned with Evolution Mining values.
• Conduct tasks as directed by the Supervisor, Leading Hand, and Tradespersons.
• Attend and complete all training and competency requirements (including TAFE).
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the workshop.
• Work within and comply with Evolution Mining and Mungari's site-specific safety and health management system.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe, professional, and efficient manner.

About you

• Currently reside within the Kalgoorlie area
• Previous Cert II in Engineering is advantageous or those wanting to upskill on their current trade.
• Willingness to learn

• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Strong commitment to safety as a way of work
• Current "C" Class Australian Drivers Licence
