Silverstrand is seeking a Project Manager to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.

You will be based in SEQ predominately and required to travel 4 days every 3rd week to oversee a FIFO project during the SPE's off swing.

Experienced with FRP + Renewable Energy projects required.

About the Role:

  • Working on Civil, Structures & Renewable
  • Delegating and mentoring engineers
  • Working closely with the Site Supervisor in the organization of labour, plant, machinery, equipment and materials to meet the program
  • Creating & implementing the construction program
  • Working with the client to resolve technical, commercial and scheduling issues
  • Reviewing and approving subcontract and supplier invoices and monthly claims
  • Ability to manage project expenditure and cash flow
  • Ensuring projects are managed on budget, completed on time and delivered to a high quality
  • Experience with project programming, cost and quality control, procurement and supplier engagement

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar is desirable - alternatively, extensive Project Management experience in the civil industry will be considered
  • Minimum 7 years experience on civil infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of structures & drainage
  • Delivering self-perform works
  • Ability to read drawings and interpret plans
  • Programming & Cost Control
  • Excellent safety record from previous projects
