We have an opportunity for a Project Structural Drafter to join our Melbourne office.

Details of the role include:

  • Modelling, Drafting, scheduling and producing structural and civil drawings to company standards
  • Production of detailed documentation and provide document control in accordance with company standards
  • Problem solving technical and design issues
  • Working with the design team to ensure client requirements are met and ensure quality deliverables for all BIM aspects of the project
  • Proactively liaise with project consultants to obtain information in appropriate formats, files etc required to ensure documentation and modelling
  • Accurate recording of time spent on projects for the purposes of timesheets
  • Ensure structural drawings / structural models are coordinated with architects prior to issuing, especially for tender and IFC stages
  • Discuss with Project Engineer and proactively set up project sheets which correspond to the relevant phase of the project
  • Proactively engage with project engineer to understand program requirements
  • Proactively keep up-to-date project folders
  • Perform QA checks of own work prior to Tender & IFC stages to company standards
  • Can perform work autonomously without the need of close supervision to reach a project milestone
  • Maintains and enforces BIM company standards
  • Proactively tried to complete assigned project tasks in a timely manner to company standards
  • Understands the requirements involved in modelling LOD3000
  • Assist BIM Manager & BIM Panel on rolling out Dynamo efficiencies

The ideal candidate will have a can do and team player attitude, hold a relevant Diploma and have at least 1 year of work experience. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is self-starting and can work autonomously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
