Nude Amigos, a vibrant and innovative Mexican Cantina and Margarita Bar with locations in Coolangatta, Kingscliff, and Broadbeach, is looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. We pride ourselves on delivering authentic Mexican flavors, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more.

About the Role

We're seeking a part-time or Full-time Cook to work 30–38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, enjoys creating flavorful dishes, and is ready to contribute to a lively and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and executing a menu inspired by traditional and modern Mexican cuisine.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient workflows during service.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, adhering to all health regulations.
• Foster a positive and cooperative kitchen environment, contributing to the team's success.

About You

To excel in this role, you'll bring:

• 1 year of experience in a similar role (experience in Mexican or modern cuisine is a plus).
• A passion for Mexican flavors and an enthusiasm for high-quality cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
• The ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional weekends, if needed.
