About the role

Bar Evelyn is seeking an experienced Pizza Chef to join our vibrant team in Coolangatta, Queensland. As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for crafting delectable pizzas using fresh, high-quality ingredients and adhering to our signature recipes. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic hospitality environment and contribute to the success of our renowned establishment.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare, cook and assemble pizza bases and toppings to our high-quality standards
2. Ensure consistent execution of our signature pizza recipes
3. Maintain a clean and organised work station to meet food safety and hygiene requirements
4. Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers
5. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation of pizza ingredients
6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our pizza offerings

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a high-volume hospitality environment
2. Strong knowledge of pizza preparation techniques and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality pizzas
3. Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean, organised work station
4. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
5. A team-oriented approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
6. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
