The Opportunity

This is a standout Permanent or 12 Month Contract opportunity for a strategic and people-focused leader to oversee a diverse portfolio of medical centres across the NSW Illawarra region.

As a Regional Manager, you'll drive operational performance, support growth, and lead a high-performing team across a mix of established and developing sites. Working closely with senior leaders and Practice Managers, you'll play a critical role in enhancing patient care, team engagement, and business outcomes.

You'll also be involved in integrating new centres through M&A (Merges & Acquisitions) activity—making this an ideal role for someone who thrives on variety, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire and empower Practice Managers and service teams to deliver operational excellence and truly patient-centred care.
  • Drive performance and engagement, ensuring every centre thrives and delivers on growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to roll out strategic initiatives and transformative projects.
  • Champion the patient experience, leveraging feedback and NPS insights to continuously enhance service quality.
  • Analyse financial performance to uncover efficiencies, optimise resource allocation, and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Strengthen GP relationships, ensuring high levels of engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Equip centres for success with the right tools, systems, and processes that enable seamless operations.
  • Build a high-performance culture, setting clear KPIs, coaching for success, and fostering continuous learning and development.
  • Support business growth and integration, contributing to M&A activities and smooth transitions across the region.

About You

  • Proven leadership experience across multiple sites (healthcare experience ideal but not essential)
  • Track record in business growth, customer service and operational excellence
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently, remotely, and onsite across various locations
  • Experience in integrating new businesses or M&A advantageous
