Brief Description
Purpose of the Role:
As our new Technical Trainer, you will be providing training to & enhancing the competencies of our Motor Claims Consultants whilst improving processes and performance through coaching activities and process refinement. Along with playing an integral part of the onboarding of our new team members, you will provide ongoing technical training, support to maintain knowledge management and improve all service metrics.
You Will
- Provide coaching and technical knowledge training and support to Motor Claims Consultants and Leaders
- Maintain advanced knowledge of company processes, systems, products, and brands
- Identify technical trends & knowledge gaps and deliver feedback
- Develop and provide trend data to the Leadership Team inclusive of success and progress
- Support the Learning & Development team to improve the onboarding of new employees to the Motor Claims Operations
- Be accountable for the ongoing content management of the learning material and knowledge management for Motor Claims
- Identify and make recommendations to the Team Leader regarding opportunities for system, process, product, or service improvements, ensuring that any changes are executed & embedded through a Change Program
Knowledge And Experience
- Previous experience within a Motor Claims role, preferred, along with a good working knowledge of insurance legislation & procedures
- Excellent coaching skills preferably utilising Coaching Conversations methodology
- Ability to identify and document opportunities for improvement in consultant performance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and Customer Service skills in line with Customer Connections methodology
- Able to prioritise workload and identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations for change
- Adaptable, able to multi-task with excellent time management skills, a self-starter & comfortable using own initiative
