Our client
Our client is Australia's largest company in the waste removal sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.
The Opportunity
Our client is undergoing a major digital transformation program that will reshape both the customer and employee experience. The program will result in a number of key benefits including: reducing manual processes, duplication of effort, and delivering services in a more efficient way.
We are seeking expressions of interest for Field Trainers who can commence work between late November and February 2026 and who can commit to an estimated 12-month contract. Multiple positions are available and start dates are yet to be confirmed but anticipated to be between November and February 2026.
As a Field Delivery Trainer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting this change, ensuring the network of drivers nationally are engaged, trained and empowered throughout the transition to continue to perform their role to the highest standards.
More specifically, the Field Delivery Trainer will be tasked with:
Training drivers face to face, either 1:1 or in small groups, on the new 'in cab' technology so they are equipped with the knowledge to perform all the technical-enabled facets of their role
Training administration/site-based employees either 1:1 or in small groups who can then support the driver network post training completion
Ensure the accuracy of training material and contribute to the training team any required edits or changes to improve driver understanding/knowledge uptake
Adhering to all site-based safety processes and procedures including the use of personal protective equipment
Travelling to sites to deliver training, which will involve both interstate and intrastate travel for approximately 2 weeks per month. Flexibility is key, on hours of work and ability to travel as delivery of training needs to accommodate driver's shift patterns.
- instructional design experience is valued but not mandatory
About you
Previous experience delivering systems/tech-based training in the field to an operational workforce is strongly desirable such as mining, logistics, manufacturing, energy or other industrial environments.
Cert IV in Training is desirable but not mandatory
Strong MS Office skills especially the use of PowerPoint to create and edit training materials
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build trust and connection with a broad range of people
Flexibility to work early mornings and/or late at night to deliver training when drivers are available
Flexibility to travel interstate and intrastate to different site locations - for up to a few weeks per month.
