Our Role

We have an opportunity to join our dedicated Individual Differences team in a dynamic and supportive role as part of our Education Support Staff (ESS). This is part-time (4 days per week), fixed-term role is specifically aimed at enhancing our Individual Needs program, which supports secondary students to be their best and achieve their best. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who is studying teaching to obtain classroom experience supporting our students learning needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting students individually or in groups in specific learning areas
  • Facilitating communication between students and teachers and aiding in the interpretation of instructions
  • Providing general support and care for students
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to program evaluations
  • Supporting student involvement in a variety of settings including classrooms, playgrounds, camps, excursions, and sporting events
  • Preparing and managing student resources and equipment
  • Promoting and ensuring inclusive practices and student independence
  • Uphold our Child Safety standards and policies at all times
  • Uphold the values and vision of Kingswood College, contributing positively to our community

Successful applicants will:

  • Hold a valid Employment Working With Children Check or VIT registration
