  • Day shift – Casual Position – Townsville, QLD
  • Monday to Friday, 4.45 am starts
  • Willing to work up to 12-hour days when required
  • Hourly rate of $44.37 (effective 31/10/25) per hour + penalties for all overtime
  • Some weekend work required (rotating roster)
  • Uniform and PPE provided

The Opportunity

Based at our Townsville depot, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for operating a collection vehicle within the Townsville area, including within metro areas. This may include front lift, hook lift and rear lift loading/unloading tasks, servicing our customers across the region.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Valid HR licence, clean driving record
  • Safety mindset
  • Willingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
  • To be considered for this role, you must be willing to obtain a National Police check (paid for by Cleanaway)

Waste industry experience is not essential; however, possessing a good attitude, being reliable, and having a willingness to learn is.
