Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in the Australian pharmacy sector and a proven ability to turn complex data into accurate, impactful, and compelling insights.
This role requires strong data engineering fundamentals, a passion for data visualisation and insight generation, and the ability to partner closely with commercial, product, and research teams to drive business growth and customer value.
As part of the growing Analytics team (working alongside a Senior Data Analyst and a Data Engineer), you will play a pivotal role in supporting Embedded Product Services, Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) offerings, and bespoke customer analytics solutions, as well as internal business insights solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Platform & Engineering
- Design and apply analytical frameworks to solve complex optimisation challenges
- Building and maintaining predictive models to understand customer efficiency, usage, demand and consumption patterns.
- Developing BI dashboards and reports to track performance and support decision-making
- Partner with Product teams to develop and manage Embedded Solutions (analytics dashboards surfaced within Product) and DaaS offerings.
Develop, manage, and optimize data flows, pipelines, and transformations using Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, and Coalesce.
Design and maintain robust data models and underlying database structures for reliable consumption.
Design and deploy new data and ML models to improve product and business outcomes.
Support the development of new data partnerships and commercial opportunities.
Produce market insights, trend reports, and white papers to support commercial initiatives.
Apply contextual knowledge of the Australian pharmacy sector to derive meaningful insights and analytics.
Collaborate with research partners to co-develop market research reports and data-based strategic recommendations.
Partner with product teams and customers to gather requirements and co-design analytic features or deliverables that meet business or user needs.
Transform large, complex datasets into automated, scalable analytic products that drive operational efficiency and customer insights.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in advanced analytics, data modelling, forecasting, or optimisation within ANZ pharmacy sector
- Demonstrated ability to generate insights that drive commercial growth, product development, and customer success.
- Experience with the Australian pharmacy and healthcare data ecosystem.
Proven ability in data visualisation and BI development (ThoughtSpot)
Extensive experience with:
Snowflake
ThoughtSpot
Coalesce, or similar ingestion/transformation tooling.
Braze, or similar automated marketing tools for segmentation
Mixpanel or other product analytics tools
Strong SQL and database development skills (Snowflake)
Experience in data modelling, pipeline development, and data transformation tools (e.g., Coalesce).
Strong background in data management, cleansing, and enrichment.
Proven experience partnering with Product teams to develop and manage Embedded Solutions and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) offerings.
Experience in predictive modelling, forecasting, and advanced analytics.
Experience working with CRM platforms and marketing attribution tools.
Exposure to SaaS or platform businesses and Data-as-a-Service models.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell compelling stories with data.
