We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI and analytics solutions. You will work closely with our data and business teams to turn raw data into meaningful insights through interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • BI Solution Development:
     Design, build, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
  • Data Modeling:
     Develop and maintain robust data models, including relationships, hierarchies, and calculated columns, to support complex analyses.
  • Data Transformation:
     Utilize Power Query and other ETL tools to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • DAX Implementation:
     Write and optimize complex DAX queries and functions to create custom calculations and measures.
  • Collaboration:
     Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
  • Performance Optimization:
     Troubleshoot and optimize the performance of Power BI solutions to ensure efficient data processing and report rendering.
  • User Support & Training:
     Provide training and support to end-users to foster a data-driven culture and ensure the effective use of BI tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX.
  • Solid experience with SQL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent understanding of data modeling and data visualization principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
