SWSLHD Drug Health Services provides comprehensive support for individuals, families, and carers affected by alcohol and drug use across South Western Sydney. Services include inpatient withdrawal at the Corella unit (Fairfield), the Opioid Treatment Program, outpatient clinics, and specialist teams such as the Aboriginal Drug & Alcohol Team and Youth Service.

About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced and proactive administrator looking to make a meaningful impact in healthcare?

Join the dynamic team at Drug Health Services (DHS), part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD), where we deliver a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services across the region. This role is based at the General Manager's Unit (GMU) on Bolger Street, Campbelltown.

As the Nursing Executive Support Officer, you will provide high-level executive assistance to both the Director of Nursing & Midwifery Services and the Operational Nurse Manager. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team and ensuring smooth administrative operations.

In this role, you will:

• Be a key member of the DHS GMU administration team.
• Work closely with the broader DHS Nursing team to support efficient healthcare delivery.
• Manage complex calendars, correspondence, and documentation with professionalism and discretion.
• Contribute to a collaborative and responsive work environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting healthcare professionals.

Criteria:

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

• Can you describe your experience providing secretarial support to committees, including tasks such as preparing agendas and taking minutes?
• How do you manage competing priorities and high volumes of work while maintaining attention to detail?
