About the Role

We are currently seeking passionate and empathetic Disability Support Workers to provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistance with meal preparation
  • Medication assist
  • Personal care
  • Bowel and catheter care
  • Hoisting
  • Community access/transport
  • Social support

Ideal Candidate

  • Female Support Workers only due to personal care for a female client
  • Excellent English-speaking skills. The client is hard of hearing and will not understand an accent.
  • Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities.
  • A commitment to safe work practices and manual handling.
  • NSW Driver License

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.47 – $39.55 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
