About the role

Oakes Road Automotive Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in North Rocks, NSW. This is a full-time role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive top-quality service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose and repair issues with a variety of vehicle makes and models
  2. Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, and brake inspections
  3. Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex mechanical problems
  4. Maintain detailed records of all work performed
  5. Provide excellent customer service and support

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  2. Acceptable qualifications include any automotive Certificate III qualification, not limited to Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  3. Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment
  4. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  6. Good communication skills and the ability to interact with customers
  7. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to contribute to a collaborative workshop environment
  8. Australian work authorisation is required for this position
