Bank of China Sydney Branch is seeking a skilled energetic and highly motivated Managerto join Cross-Boarder Retail Business Team in Personal Banking Department.

This is a Two Year Maximum Term Contract subject to review for an on-going basis after the contract period.

You responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Channel Operations: Manage daily operations of mobile, online, and open banking platforms; ensure system stability and compliance; coordinate with Head Office, IT, and vendors on system optimization, upgrades, and testing.
  • Business Development: Support e-banking growth plans; drive customer activation through targeted online campaigns; provide customer guidance and resolve issues to improve service experience.
  • Data & Performance: Track and analyze key metrics (e.g., transactions, active users); prepare reports to support decisions; align with Head Office targets and monitor branch performance.
  • Risk & Compliance: Oversee operational procedures and data security; conduct risk assessments and process reviews; organize emergency drills and ensure regulatory reporting.
  • Collaboration & Training: Act as a bridge between business and technology; support project rollouts; deliver training and maintain knowledge resources for frontline staff.

The required skills for the position:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience: Background in e-banking, IT, channel operations, or project implementation preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of banking systems and digital channels; basic IT and data logic understanding; strong learning and business insight.
  • Competencies: Responsible, proactive, strong problem-solving and coordination skills; effective under pressure; collaborative and results-driven.
