About Us
We are a fast-growing food import and distribution business, supplying a wide range of authentic ethnic and mainstream food products to retail outlets across South Australia. Since 2005, we've been building strong customer relationships and expanding our reach into new markets.
Now, we're scaling our sales team and looking for ambitious, energetic, and results-driven professionals who want to build a long-term career in the food industry.
This is an opportunity to join as one of five Business Development Executives in our team. After a 30-day paid trial period, the top two performers will secure permanent positions.
Your Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and strengthening our customer base. This is a hands-on role with both sales and operational exposure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing retail customers while identifying and onboarding new accounts.
- Sales & Target Achievement: Meet and exceed set sales targets through proactive selling and consistent follow-ups.
- Marketing & Promotions: Execute in-store promotions, tastings, and product activations; ensure proper display of company products and marketing materials.
- Customer Service & Business Development: Take customer orders, check stock levels, and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Payment & Order Follow-Ups: Manage sales inquiries and follow up on outstanding payments via calls, emails, and in-person visits.
What We're Looking For
- Salesperson able to execute new ideas & is passionate about growing sales across channels
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Well-presented, proactive, and quick to learn.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, target-driven environments.
- Fluent in English and Hindi (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding areas.
- Valid driver's licence — daily driving required (company sales car provided; to be picked up and returned to the office each day).
- Familiarity with South Asian food products is an advantage.

- Start Date: 1 October 2025
- Work Authorisation: Must have legal rights to work in Australia
- Work Location: In-person role, based in South Australia
- Travel: 75% field-based work across Adelaide and surrounding areas + Monthly Interstate travel
