What We're Looking For

We're seeking draftsmen who can work independently and manage residential projects from start to finish, including:

  • Communicating directly with clients to discuss residential design requirements
  • Preparing construction-ready drawings in line with Xpressdraft's drafting standards – simplicity with complete detail
  • Ensuring clients are fully informed of our amendment policy and any associated variation fees before changes are made
  • Handling variation requests professionally, obtaining approvals, and requesting payment where required
  • Addressing and incorporating client-requested changes promptly and accurately
  • Meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction

Full guidance, templates, and examples of Xpressdraft's standards will be provided to ensure quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • Preferred software: Archicad (not essential but highly regarded)
  • Accepted software: Revit or AutoCAD
  • Must have your own drafting software
  • Proven experience preparing residential construction drawings and documentation
  • Ability to manage projects end-to-end with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • ABN required
