You'll be part of a high-performing Banking Platform team working across Digital, Lender, and Broker channels - building scalable backend systems that drive customer value and innovation.

Key Responsibilities


•Design, develop and test backend software solutions for lending and originations platforms


•Become a backend OBP Engineer delivering high-quality code in an Agile environment


•Collaborate with senior engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions


•Write and maintain clear technical documentation (flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments)


•Troubleshoot and resolve issues using tools such as SQL Developer and Splunk


•Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives

Skills & Experience


•Proven experience in backend software development


•Familiarity with REST APIs and Microservices architecture


•Basic understanding of Oracle databases and SQL


•Exposure to SOAP, XML, JSON and modern integration concepts


•Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins advantageous)


•Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach

Desirable


•Experience with test automation frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)


•Knowledge of AWS / GCP / Azure.


•Background in large-scale transformation programs

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
