Located alongside the Deep Creek River and adjacent to South Valla Beach, Valla Beach Holiday Park is a unique holiday location offering a range of accommodation options and park facilities to suit the needs of all travellers.

This role will require you to work across both areas, which will include grounds & maintenance duties, as well as the cleaning of tourist cabins, amenities, and common areas. This is a casual position.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting into the Park Manager, you must be able to work autonomously or as part of a team. You must enjoy working around people and be able to communicate easily and confidently. You will take pride in your appearance, be self-motivated, have an eye for detail, a passion for maintenance, grounds and housekeeping and also have a willingness to learn and apply learnt knowledge.

The position will provide you with variety and a rewarding role.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have previous experience; however, this is not essential as training will be provided to the right person.

The successful applicant will require a Drivers Licence.

You will be competent in the use of items such as:

  • Ride on mowers.
  • Hedge trimmers.
  • Whipper snippers
  • Chainsaws
  • High powered hand tools.
  • Assist with other minor maintenance items across our park and accommodation on direction from our Park Manager.
  • Attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness
  • The ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team
  • Excellent personal presentation with a friendly disposition
  • A willingness to carry out various tasks as required
  • Available to be rostered over a 7-day rotating roster including weekends (days/times will vary each week)
  • Be available for an immediate start

The rate of pay for this role is based on the Hospitality General Award.
