The Team

Toowoomba Regional Council's Corporate and Management Accounting teams are driven by integrity and excellence and are responsible for providing professional accounting services to Council. About the positions

• One permanent full-time position and one fixed term full-time position until November 2025, based in the Toowoomba CBD.
• The annual salary range for these positions is $89, $93,248.40 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

How to be successful in these positions

• Bachelor Degree in Commerce or related discipline with relevant accounting experience.
• Possession of, or working towards, a membership of a professional accounting organisation is desirable.
• Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of local government and/or similar large organisation asset structures, services and functions.
• Working knowledge of relevant Australian Accounting Standards and other applicable legislation, policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated computer skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Commitment to teamwork.
