About the role:

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst with deployment experience to support the successful delivery of key application releases and system enhancements. This role is ideal for a Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills, solid application knowledge, and hands-on experience supporting deployment activities in complex enterprise environments.

You'll work across multiple delivery streams to help translate business requirements into actionable outcomes, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions during deployment cycles.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Support deployment readiness activities by ensuring documentation, data, and functional validation are in place ahead of release.
  • Assist in coordinating and tracking UAT, SIT, and BVT testing phases to ensure successful deployment outcomes.
  • Work closely with development, DevOps, and support teams to manage the release lifecycle from planning to go-live.
  • Contribute to post-deployment verification, issue tracking, and communication of release outcomes to business units.
  • Perform data validation and analysis using SQL, identifying gaps or inconsistencies during the migration or release process.
  • Maintain detailed documentation such as business process flows, deployment checklists, test cases, and user guides.
  • Support change and incident management processes during release windows, ensuring minimal business disruption.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a Business Analyst or similar role within enterprise or financial services environments.
  • Proven involvement in deployment or release support activities across end-to-end software delivery lifecycles.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, change impact assessment, and application behaviour.
  • Hands-on skills with SQL for querying and data validation purposes.
  • Familiarity with deployment coordination, testing cycles (UAT/SIT), and production readiness assessments.
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Exposure to banking or financial services platforms, including core banking or transaction systems.
  • Familiarity with ETL and data integration tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS or Azure) and understanding of deployment in hybrid environments.
  • Background in supporting data migration or system cutover projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Business, or related disciplines.
