Q H & M Birt Pty Ltd is currently putting together a team for the Ranger Rehabilitation Project, located approximately 260 km east of Darwin.

We are responsible for the Bulk Earthworks component of this important long-term restoration project, which has an expected duration of 3 years.

As part of our hiring philosophy, we believe the economic benefits of long-term projects should remain within the local community, rather than "flying out" with the workforce. For this reason, we are prioritising local employment for this intake and are keen to hire individuals from Darwin and the surrounding areas.

We are currently recruiting for:

  • Labourers (HR license, rigger and dogman qualifications desirable but not essential)

Position Details:

  • Roster: 3 weeks on, 1 week off
  • Accommodation & Meals: Provided at the site camp
  • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Pay: Hourly rates, overtime penalties, and weekly payments
  • Additional Benefits: Accrual of annual leave and a generous loyalty bonus after one year of service
  • Transport provided to and from Darwin
