About the role

Join the team at Virginia Plumbing as a full-time Labourer. Based in Palmerston NT 0830, this hands-on role will see you assisting our qualified plumbing team with a variety of general labour tasks on residential and commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting plumbers and other tradespeople with various tasks on construction and maintenance sites
  • Performing manual labour duties such as digging trenches, loading and unloading materials, and site clean-up
  • Following all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Providing general support to the plumbing team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar labourer or general construction role, preferably in the trades industry
  • Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety
  • A positive, hardworking attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
