Port Melbourne institution Ciao Cielo is a contemporary Italian restaurant serving up house made pasta and a range of delicate and delicious dishes in a classic European setting.

We showcase contemporary Italian food, while paying homage to traditional techniques in the surrounds of a classical heritage building.

About the Role

An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists for a venue supervisor to join our team.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 plus super

In this role you will:

  • Support the Venue Manager and Assistant Manager to effectively run FOH operations
  • Work closely with leadership to review and develop exciting and seasonal beverages
  • Maintain our service and beverage standards in line with guest expectations
  • Have strong leadership ability and excellent communication
  • Participate in maintaining the venue to the highest presentation standards
  • Mentor & train junior staff

About You

The successful applicant will be an experienced front of house professional looking to take the next step in their career. You will have a strong desire to deliver outstanding experiences to your guests. You are looking for a long term role with growth opportunities.

You will have:

  • The ability to service tables while leading others.
  • Co-ordinate and communicate effectively to run a service
  • A demonstrated desire to lead and drive success for the team
  • Minimum 1 year experience at a similar level
  • A strong understanding of all WHS procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Experience working in mid volume to high volume, fine dining or smart casual restaurants.
