Are you looking for a supportive workplace with an amazing team culture? A place where birthdays are celebrated with cake , where professional growth is supported with mentoring and peer supervision, where team days bring us together, and where you're valued—not just with support but with excellent remuneration, job security, four weeks of annual leave, and sick leave, all while earning as much (if not more) than a contractor?
At Harrison Child & Family Psychology, we're proud to offer something that most psychology clinics don't — true flexibility, strong team support, and a culture built on collaboration and care.
If this sounds like what you've been searching for, we'd love to meet you
What makes this role different?
In many psychology clinics, flexibility is promised but hard to deliver — sessions lock you into rigid hours, and "balance" usually takes a back seat. We wanted to change that.
At HCFP, our clinic runs from 7am to 7pm, weekdays only, which means you can structure your shifts around your lifestyle:
- Prefer to start early and finish around lunchtime? Choose a morning shift (7am start, early finish).
 - More of a night owl? Select an afternoon shift, giving you a slow morning and plenty of breathing room before starting work.

Shifts are structured around face-to-face client time only. Your non-billable time is already included in your contracted hours and pay — meaning you won't be expected to complete these tasks on your own time.
In practice, this means our psychologists are in-clinic for around 20 hours of client sessions per week, while being paid for a full 30 hours. That's genuine flexibility and balance — not just a buzzword.
What's in it for you?
- Flexible shifts (7am–7pm, weekdays only — no weekends)
 - An above award base salary plus a revenue share program — allowing you to earn an uncapped income
 - Paid annual leave and sick leave for financial security and peace of mind
 - Your non-billable time (notes, preparation, professional development) is already included in your contracted hours and pay — you won't be expected to complete these tasks on your own time
 - A structured induction and mentoring plan to set you up for success in your first 100 days
Professional development tailored to your role:
If you're a Clinical Registrar, you'll have access to our structured Registrar Program, including individual + group peer supervision
- Otherwise, you'll have access to our PREP program, which includes an extensive library of clinical resources, structured training modules, and ongoing in-house mentoring
 A vibrant team culture with:
Regular team outings and social events
- Lunch & Learns to grow together
 - Peer supervision sessions to share knowledge and support one another
 - Ongoing clinical mentoring to help you thrive
 - The option to be part of team meetings where your ideas and feedback help shape the growth of the clinic — because you're not just a cog in the machine, but a valued voice who can make a real impact on the workplace you're part of

About the role
We're seeking a psychologist who is passionate about assessments (Autism, ADHD, and other developmental differences in children and adolescents) as well as therapeutic care. Together, we'll work with you to develop a caseload that reflects your strengths and interests.
About you
- Fully registered (general/registrar/endorsed) Psychologist with AHPRA
 - Eligible for a Medicare provider number
 - Excited to work with children, families, and diverse presentations
 - Looking for a role where flexibility, culture, and career development truly matter
 - Thrives in a collaborative team environment (not a "solo in a silo" role)

Ready to Apply?
If you're ready for a role where your career, wellbeing, and lifestyle are equally supported — and where you get to be part of a team that learns, grows, and laughs together — we'd love to hear from you.
