Job Description

Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand or Farm Hand for a dairy farm in Woolsthorpe, located 20 minutes from Warrnambool in South West Victoria.

This farm is approximately 490ha with a majority of perennial pastures with some annual grass pastures. Currently milking 870 cows through a 80 bale rotary shed with ACR's and auto teat spray, this farm is 70% Autumn and 30% Spring calving.

Accommodation is available for the right candidate and there could be opportunities for employment for your partner on one of our nearby farms, if required.

This role will include tasks the areas of:

  • Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
  • All aspects of milking.
  • Animal husbandry.
  • Pasture management.
  • Machinery operation.
  • Repairs and maintenance.
