As a result of an internal promotion, we are now seeking to appoint a Technical Training Developer to develop training material for Instructor Led Training (ILT) programs & eLearning technical content for Isuzu Australia's truck & power solutions dealers and fleet customers.

This position reports to the National Training Manager and is located in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing training materials
  • Ensuring that training materials meet the requirements of our trainers, dealers, service technicians, and parts interpreters
  • Providing recommendations for future training strategies
  • Conducting train the trainer programs
  • Creating training aids to support technical training programs
  • Supporting the eLearning developer in creating eLearning content
  • Developing and desktop publishing Isuzu Truck Technicians Guild articles for the Isuzu Australia Dealer Network and Fleet customers

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum of two years' experience developing automotive technical training materials.
  • Relevant trade qualifications with a minimum 2 years trade experience
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent qualification)
  • A detailed knowledge of current automotive technology including electrical/electronic systems
  • Strong communication skills – written and spoken
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (in particular PowerPoint, Word & Excel – experience with Adobe Creative Suite products would be an advantage)
  • A current Driver's Licence (HR desired)
