We are currently seeking qualified Personal Carers to provide high quality care and support to NoosaCare residents.

About You

NoosaCare is looking for candidates that passionate about aged care and making a difference in people's lives. Essential requirements are:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
• Current (valid within 3 years) criminal record check or the ability to obtain prior to starting.

Here's a little bit about what sets us apart from other workplaces:

• Grounds that are more comparable to a resort than other aged care facilities or hospitals. Say goodbye to clinical long grey hallways and hello to open air breezeways that meander through our mature landscaped gardens.
• Extra Leave: You'll accrue 5 weeks of Annual Leave per annum (with 17.5% loading for when you use it) and 10 Personal Leave days plus an additional 5 days per annum of Infectious Disease Leave and 3 days per annum of Natural Disaster Leave. You'll also have access to up to 12 weeks of Paid Parental Leave.
• True Career Development: With 6 levels within the Personal Carer role, you'll have ample room for development throughout your career at NoosaCare as a Personal Carer. You'll also have access to study leave benefits to further your knowledge and NoosaCare pays extra allowances for those that hold extra role-specific qualifications.
• Recognition Bonuses: Receive a bonus of $375 after tax each year of service you complete after 10 years.
• Above Award Rates: With pay well above the award rate, you'll also receive an annual 2% pay increase under our Enterprise Agreement conditions on top of any CPI increases with NoosaCare. We also pay superannuation contributions on a fortnightly basis, allowing your super to accumulate interest faster.
• Salary Packaging Benefits – Package up to $15,900 of your pay per annum with an option to package an additional $2,600 for meals and entertainment, you're able to increase your take home pay by lowering our taxable income.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver all aspects of personal care to residents while on shift.
• Collaborate with management, employees, residents and their loved ones to achieve a safe, secure and infection free environment.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Contribute to positive resident outcomes by supporting the assessment, and planning of residents in collaboration with their family and the broader clinical team.

Pay: $31.10 – $37.88 per hour
