About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant based in Canberra ideally with forensic investigations or advisory experience in the areas of fraud, corruption and workplace misconduct investigations. You may also have a background in audit or a related discipline and are looking for a career change.

The successful candidate will become a member of Deloitte Forensic and the role will involve:

Assisting with the delivery of investigation services to public sector and corporate clients and their legal representatives, where appropriate

Executing on complex investigations in a team engaged to conduct investigations and reports of varying types

Supporting teams delivering advisory services to clients focused on fraud, corruption, misconduct or critical infrastructure security

Working in high performing teams that draw on different skills where appropriate, including forensic technology and data analytics.

About you

A successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous work experience involving forensic investigations or advisory

Tertiary qualification

CA/CPA qualified desirable but not essential

Advanced proficiency with relevant software (including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint)

Well developed report writing skills and a keen attention to detail

Highly developed leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Strong investigative, analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills

Demonstrated practical commercial business acumen

Proven and reliable project management and project delivery skills

A desire to make a contribution to business development

A strong sense of professional curiosity and purpose

A willingness to learn and be naturally enthusiastic and collaborative in teams
